San Diego-based Property Manager ColRich Communities retained SBSA to design an addition to and renovations of the existing Leasing Office and Fitness Center Building at the Tuscan Heights Apartment complex.  The addition and renovations provide an independent and enhanced building entry for the Leasing Office and enlarged and enhanced facilities for the Fitness Center.

On a 10 acre gently sloping wooded site in Evergreen, Colorado SBSA designed a 5,000 GSF custom residence in 2016.  The two story home is designed in two phases, with a private Music Room and Guest Suite comprising the second phase.  A circular drop off at the building entry is protected from the northwest winter winds by the Garage and Service wing of the L-shaped floor plan.  Ample exterior decks and large operable window walls afford indoor-outdoor living in a beautiful natural setting.

For client Urban Green Developments SBSA designed a 20,750 GSF mixed use project with a main level restaurant/retail space and 6 condominium residences occupying the upper levels of the building.  Private garages for the residences were designed to be accessed directly of the alley way to the east side of the property. The building design features multiple exterior balcony spaces for each unit as well as a central entry courtyard secured from the public access to the main level retail space.  Primary building materials are brick veneer, fiber cement siding, stucco and cast stone veneer.

For the Hunters Glen Homeowners Association (HOA), SBSA designed a 4,300 GSF community clubhouse facility with a large meeting/activity space that can be divided for multiple user groups as well as main board room for HOA meetings and restroom facilities. The building design accommodates the existing outdoor swimming pool deck area as well as existing swimming pool support structures. Primary building materials are brick veneer, fiber cement siding, stucco and sandstone veneer.
