Dr. Dixon graduated with his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Florida. His background includes private practice for two forensic engineering firms in Florida and academic research focused on the wind-induced failure mechanisms of building components. Craig’s dissertation comprised five experimental research projects that identified why asphalt shingle roofing fails in wind. The outcomes of this research have impacted the manufacturing, consulting, and design of asphalt shingle roofing for wind resistance. Craig has published the results of his academic research in many articles spanning peer-reviewed academic journals to technical trade periodicals. He has also presented at academic conferences in the United States and Europe.
Harold Fronapfel holds a vast amount of structural engineering experience including forensic repairs to commercial and residential structural property damaged from construction defects, failures, and performance. He also has expertise in the design of steel, wood, masonry and concrete structures for residential and light commercial structures. Harold has also been involved in the design of repair for failed structural members in industrial buildings. Harold’s background includes structural designs within the Denver metro area included Sil-Terhar Ford Dealership, 7-11, and structural design for several cement plants around the U.S. Harold has been in charge of structural and engineer of record for several mining facilities and power plants. He has experience in quality control including the review of structural designs, ensuring they were up to code and maintaining within budget.
